First camera shot: Bud is watching fishing on TV with April.

Synopsis: On W-HIP Radio, the campus station at the college Bud attends, Oliver Cole and Mark Campbell host several hours of unconventional and overlooked programming. After a probing interview divulging the past of Trumaine's Dean of Students, Steve Rhoades, both Oliver and Mark are kicked off the airwaves and out of school. To get revenge on her ex-husband, Marcy D'Arcy leads a feeble on-air protest against their expulsion. The protest does not attract much attention, but when Bud's desperate attempt to steal the affections of April away from Nickolai, a ruggedly handsome basketball star is broadcast over the station, "Hot Talk With April" is born, the station - and Mark and Oliver - become popular and Dean Rhoades allows them to stay at Trumaine and on WHIP Radio.

Recurring character cast:
Steve Rhoades: David Garrison (his fourth and last reappearance since he left the regular cast)

Guest cast:
Oliver: Eric Dane
Mark: Andrew Kavovit
Nickolai: Timothy Elwell
April: Keri Russell
Stoner: Joseph D. Reitman

General note: This episode was the second new series pilot broadcast as an episode of Married... with Children, i.e. spin-off episode. The new series would have focused on the activity around the student radio station at Bud Bundy's college, but it never even made it past the pilot stage.

Bud's girl: April Adams

Mistakes: In the credits David Garrison is mis-credited as Steve "Rhodes".

Influences: The episode title is influenced by the common name for radio stations in conflict areas fighting for democracy "Radio Free ..."
