Influences and references: The episode title refers to a common phrase and the song by Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, remake by The Captain and Tenille. Jerry Mathers was the Beaver on the 60s TV series "Leave it to Beaver". "Opie" was a character from "The Andy Griffith Show" which was also on the air back then. The episode was inspired by the movie "Supermarket Sweep".
