It took Sony six years - from October 2003 until October 2009 - to publish all episodes.

Seasons one to three are mostly uncut, including full opening and end credits. From season three on, the sets feature new opening and end themes due to royalty reasons. Season four features eight episodes in edited US syndicated versions. If you want to have all season four episodes uncut you should get the German season four set mentioned below which includes English sound. Make sure your DVD can play region two DVDs before you get the German DVD.

All region one sets only include few bonus material. If you live outside of DVD region one (region one includes the US and Canada), make sure that your DVD player can read region one DVDs before you buy these sets. British and Irish fans with a region-two-only DVD player will have to buy the German or the French edition which also include the original English sound. See the next paragraphs for details.

Finally: It took 12 years after the premiere of the last episode until all episodes were available on DVD in the US. Well... it was worth the wait.

0411 - Who'll Stop the Rain?
This DVD also costs between US$ 15 (at Amazon.com) and US$ 20.

Both volumes are in English, region code 1 and in Dolby stereo 2.0. They feature a so-called Salute to Sinatra, which is only an ad for a collection of Sinatra CDs, plus some trailers for other shows on DVD and for Christina Applegate's movie The Sweetest Thing.

There's also a European version of both DVDs with German, French (both mono) and English (stereo) sound, including Turkish subtitles. This two DVD set for region code 2 costs between EUR 27 and 31. For instance you can get it at Amazon.de or Amazon.fr.

VHS

There are hardly any offical video tapes of the series available. The only exception is the "It's a Bundyful Life" two-parter (412/413) which is available in the US on video (Columbia Tristar Home Video #92773, approximately 47 minutes, stereo). You can get it at Columbia TriStar.

Many thanks to Joe Siegler, Gilberto Cortés, Nitzan Gilkis, Michael Pomme, Martin Schmidt and Amandine.
