Like in every sitcom, chronology is not reliable in Married... with Children. Here are some examples:

The Dodge was built in 1974 (0724) or 1971 (1020), but episode 1107 tells us that Al had it already on the day of his four touchdowns triumph, which was on November 17, 1966. The "Requiem for A Chevyweight" two-parter (1107 and 1109) has also other impossible references, such as the conception of Kelly on that same date. This also contradicts to Kelly's birthday on November 27, given in episode 0703. On Al's drivers license we can read that his birthday is 11-07-48 (0720), which is usually November 7, but in episode 804 his zodiacal sign is cancer, so Al's birthday could also be July 11. The year of the Bundy-Wanker wedding is also not clear, but references concentrate around 1971.

The episodes seem to take place in the year they are produced. E.g. Kelly graduates from high school in 1990 (revealed in episode 1008) and in episode 0502, which was produced in 1990, she shows her brand new high school diploma. Also, we always have matching references on US Presidents in office. On the other hand, the episode showing the Bundys' 25th anniversary is produced only 8 years after the episode about their 16th anniversary. However, I consider events to take place in the year of the episodes' production, which explains the References by Production Date column in the table. Be aware that no dates are listed here, but you can find them on the Bundyology pages about characters.
