Synopsis: The Bundys hit the voting booths, united to defeat political correctness -- and a new 2 cent beer tax. When their causes lose at the polls, the Bundys hit the streets for some good old fashioned pillaging.

General note: Peggy & Al have sex. When the Bundys walk down the street, we can see the store "Final Vinyl" which was shown on "Oldies But Young'Uns" (0518). Channel 83 is also featured on "Raingirl" (0419) and "Reverend Al" (1004).

References and influences: The episode title is influenced by the historic event "Boston Tea Party" and refers to the song by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Al's "Give me beer or give me death" refers to Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death" speech from March 23, 1775, held at St. John's Church in Richmond, Virginia. His "Read my lips, don't tax beer" refers to President George Bush's "Read my lips, no new taxes."
