First camera shot: Bud wearing a baseball cap, talking on the phone.
Synopsis: Peg plans a clown-and-pony party for Bud's 18th birthday, but Al
offers him a Bundy tradition - his first visit to a nudie bar and
his first bar fight. Meanwhile, Buck falls in love with the pony.
Guest cast:
Sticky the Clown: Roger Hewlett
Roxanne: Gina Puzo
Man: Carl Ciarfalio
Gorgo: Frank Lloyd
Voice of Buck: Kevin Curran (supervising producer)
General note: We can see the nudie bar for the first time.
This episode's credits finally reveals that Buck the Dog's
voice has been provided by staff writer Kevin Curran. Also, instead
of the normal still frame during the closing credits, there is a
scene showing Sticky playing with a large knife and a teddy bear.
Bundyisms:
"Men and women" by Al Bundy:
"A man is a man all of his life, but a woman is only sexy 'til
she becomes your wife"
"At the Nudie Bar":
Where the music stinks, and they water the drinks, the nudie bar.
Where the girlies dance in their underpants, the nudie bar.
Where you see their butt, and their trap stays shut, at the nudie bar.
"At the Nudie Bar" reprise:
Where you can't touch a breast, but you can cave in a chest, at the nudie bar.
Where you look at a thigh, and blacken an eye, at the nudie bar.
Where the beer gives you gas, but the Bundys kick ass, at the nudie bar.
Influences: The episode title is inspired by the movie "Rites of Passion".
