First camera shot: Peggy is playing cards on the couch, Kelly comes down the stairs.

Synopsis: Marcy expresses jealousy over the popularity of her cousin Mandy, who shares Al's taste for beer, sports - and women.

Guest cast:
Mandy: Amanda Bearse (who plays Marcy D'Arcy as a regular cast member)
Elaine: Elaine Hendrix (David Faustino's girl-friend at that time)

General note: Because of the technical complexities presented by Amanda Bearse's dual role, this episode was not taped in front of a studio audience.

Music: Marcy sings a variation on the theme song to "The Patty Duke Show".

Influences and references: Amanda Bearse, who plays Marcy and Mandy, is gay in real life. The episode title is inspired by the phrase "Let's Be Friends"; "lez" is short for lesbian. Phyllis Diller is an unattractive actress and comedienne; she's also known for her face-tightening plastic surgery as well. Marge Schott is the owner of the Cincinnati Reds, a baseball team; she's also physically unattractive.
