General note: This episode was originally part of "Mask" week on Fox, celebrating the television debut of the Jim Carrey film. "Married... with Children" was one of several Fox shows to be injected with "Mask"-style video effects. Due to the number of special effects shots employed, this episode was not recorded before a live audience. This episode was initially planned to be a two-part story.

Influences: The episode title is inspired by the movie and band "Damn Yankees".
